VIP Nails & Spa

This was the first nail salon in Muncie I decided to try out. (I’m not from Indiana just here for work.)

My first time was back in November and I had a great first experience, super friendly and helpful. Also LOVED how the nails turned out.

Second experience was today; I wanted to get something done for the holidays and my goodness; the nails turned out so pretty; I love them!!

Hands down my favorite place in town; especially for their nail art work!! They’re all super talented!

It was my first time getting my nails done here and they did an amazing job, but I will let the photos speak for themselves. They were polite and very knowledgeable about what I can and can’t do with my nails.

They rushed both times I went. My nails were not completely dry upon leaving. They’re super chunky. They were a bit aggressive with the drill. There’s been a bubble in my nail both times I’ve went. All around just not too pleasant. :-/

I’ve lived in Muncie for 8+ years and I have tried a lot of nail salons. VIP is by far my favorite. The staff is super friendly, and efficient. You can tell this place is the best in Muncie because there are always wait times. I would recommend calling to make an appointment . My gel acrylic manicure is $33 before tip. PLEASE TIP YOUR TECH!

I tried them for a basic mani-pedi. Basic is very much what I got. The facility was clean but so impersonal and quiet it felt uncaring. No one was chatting, everyone was heads down working.

In my opinion the price was way out of line with the service provided and not in a good way. Check the prices before having anything done.

I gave them 3 stars for their sanitary practices and a decent result.

They do a great job here. All 3 of us got our nails done for Mother's Day. We were in and out in about 35 minutes. We are all very happy.

Always love my nails after getting a fill or a new full set. They have SO many colors and wait times aren’t usually that long. Just an FYI you have to wear a mask when you go in :)

RUDEST nails salon I have ever experienced. And this was not the first time either! They’ve been rude every time but I put up with it a couple of times because they did a decent job. But this visit will be my last. I had showed the guy a picture of french tips with a simple hibiscus flower design. He proceeded to get the colors for me and never stated that it couldn’t be done at all, just not by him. I had also let him know that I did not want my nails any shorter. He soon then started to file them down. So, naturally I pulled my hand away to reassure him I did not want them shortened and to save him from making a mistake. He then proceeded to YANK my arm back and forth to show me that I could have just told him that and he was comparing him YANKING my arm to me pulling away. I then told him he did not have to do all of that and to not do it again. He then finished the french tip being extremely passive aggressive and then sent me to the front to pay with out the design. The girl in the front then told me she couldn’t do the design either. So, I am now stuck with nails I would have never gotten if I was correctly informed from the beginning.

I AM NOT YOUR FRIEND OR FAMILY. I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER. There was absolutely no excuse to talk to people like that or be so passive aggressive that you are yanking on someone’s arm. I really hope everyone there learns some customer service skills.
